Trevor Bayne

20 years old from knoxville just won the daytona 500 in his second career start. Im a martin fan but i was kinda rooting for trevor on that last restart

I was rooting for him at the end too, it was one helluva race. He was awesome today.

And its AWESOME to see the Wood Brothers back in victory lane, especially at a huge race like Daytona. Just an incredible way to start the NASCAR season

I am happy for The Wood Brothers and especially for Trevor Bayne, I used to go to summer camp in Staurt, Va. and we always went to their race shop, and I don't care how busy they were they always took time out for a bunch of brat kids like us. Good things do happen to good people.

I have lost a lot of interest in NASCAR the last couple of years. But I watched Bayne qualify the other day and decided that since he was a young driver and drove for the Wood Bros. I'd start pulling for him. (I was a Kahne fan but I can't pull for a Toyota). Today was the first full race I've watched in years and I was standing during that last restary pulling for Bayne.

I was also glad to see my childhood favorite (bill Elliott) trail behind the field all day and benefit from all the wrecks and finish 12th.

Im a Carl Edwards fan, so the ending was pretty exciting at the in-laws, but I was just hoping those 2 would finish 1-2. I was happy for Carl to come in 2nd, and the Wood Bros. to go back to Victory Lane with Bayne in the seat. I hope they get enough funding to run the whole year now instead of just 17 races.

I am one of the Nascar fans who has kind of drifted away in the last 10 years since Earnhart passed and Jimmy Johnson has came along. But I watched yesterday and for the first time in a very long time I actually got excited about a race. Needless to say being a Tennessee guy I was pulling for Bayne. It was pretty cool to see this kid do something that has never been done before in the sport. And to me I consider him a local guy so he is my new favorite driver. I gotta find a hat or tshirt or something....... pretty cool race......
